NEVVEN is an intersectional Contemporary art venture which integrates an art gallery and a public project while trying to advance the concept of both. The gallery represents and collaborates with a broad range of emerging and mid-career artists from Sweden and abroad and actively interacts with several Swedish public institutions.
NEVVEN exists in Gothenburg, Sweden since 2015 and was founded by artist Alina Vergnano and curator Mattia Lullini. Katarina Holzmann Ekholm, David Eng, Erik-Joel Billström and Carl Martinsson work with the gallery as gallery assistant, photographer, IT developer and production manager, respectively.
The gallery is functionally adapted according to the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's (Boverkets) standard on “Simple Remedies (Enkla Avhjälpta Hinder)”. Parking is available right in front of the gallery, guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome, portable wheelchair ramps are available and the personnel can help persons with limited mobility to enter and move around the gallery if need be. For any further information please contact the gallery.
