Vika Prokopaviciute (Vilnius, 1983) is pictorially distilling a personal abstract language blending poetical influences with a methodical approach in which every painting is almost scientifically derived by the previous one, and where options and inspirations are synthesised with surgical precision in her signature style high temperature colours. Prokopaviciute graduated at the Samara University of Architecture and Engineering and at the University of Applied Arts of Vienna. Her work was exhibited, among others, at Eve Leibe Gallery (London, 2020), nGbK (Berlin, 2020), Mauve (Vienna, 2020), Skulpturinstitut (Vienna, 2019), Kunstverein Eisenstadt (2019), White Dwarf (Vienna, 2016) and Essl Museum (Klosterneuburg, 2015). Vika Prokopaviciute lives and works in Vienna, Austria.
